The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. I have learned to avoid items that look extremely different in every product photo. Online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention. If the first order goes well, I slowly try more products from the same place. If anyone has long term experience with certain online shops, I am always curious to read it. Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes.

Even a short note like “this size runs smaller than expected” can help someone. If you sit in front of a screen for many hours, these small features make a difference. It is interesting to see how different people value different aspects of a product. Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions.
