People who share height and weight information make it easier to choose the right size. Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes. Many people do not mind waiting if they understand what is going on. If the first order is a disaster, I prefer to move on and not waste time with support.

Footwear is even harder because different brands cut shoes very differently. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. It is interesting to see how different people value different aspects of a product. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying. Taking a few minutes to research before buying can save a lot of money and frustration. Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later. Otherwise they become clutter in the closet after the trend is over.
